Learning through play

Thomas Chan, founder of Kids Technology Lab, has over 20 years of experience in the mobile and consumer electronics industry. He was the creator of a No. 1 paid sports app for the iPhone. A father himself, Thomas has been doing parent-child STEM activities since his son was 7 years old. Impressed with the results, he realised that if we can capture the golden period of a child’s brain development, then the sooner we can activate their innovative thinking, leading to better child development.
Kids Technology Lab was established in 2017. The Lab endeavors to stimulate children’s motivation to learn through a teaching model based on projects which are inspired by daily life. With the help of coding applications and electronic technology, children are able to design specific solutions which equip them with a set of lifelong soft skills. Laying the foundations of excellent analytical and logical thinking, problem solving and creativity among others, the ultimate goal is to develop a well-rounded character.
